The Project Technologies Group - Statistical Methods

Purpose:	Data based decision making is a requirement for success in today's business environment. With data, there is always variation and there is no time for huge sample sizes. The solution is to learn and use statistical methods. Familiarity with statistical methods is a requirement for ISO/TS 16949.
Outcome:	You will be able to: Calculate and use sample mean and standard deviation performance, capability, Cp, Cpk, PP, Ppk, and PPM. Display data on a variety of graphs Validate products and processes Explain how to use control charts as an improvement tool. Evaluate simple experiments with scatter charts, t tests, and F tests.
Deliverables:	A manual and workbook that will serve as a future reference.
