The Project Technologies Group - GD&T - Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing


Module Summary	Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is being used more and more throughout the world as a way to assure that components will be functional and interchangeable while maximizing tolerances and minimizing rework. Familiarity with GD&T is required by QS-9000 and ISO/TS 16949.
Who Should Attend	All who require detailed familiarity with GD&T. Participants are invited to bring in drawings for use in the workshops, to make sure we have an example that is relevant to their area of interest.
Deliverables	Attendees will be able to: Interpret geometric tolerances, Apply geometric dimensioning to a drawing per ANSI/ASME standard Y14.5M-1994. Perform workshop exercises designed to increase the company's familiarity with the standard, Receive a pocket guide to the standard and a text to use as a detailed reference.
Prerequisites	Familiarity with part drawings and standard dimensioning.
