Design Verification Planning and Report (DVP&R)

Module Summary

Automotive Quality Standards (ISO/TS 16949 and QS-9000) require automotive companies to specify and document a detailed plan for engineering testing that is used for engineering development, design verification, product validation, and in some cases, continuous conformance. Some automotive customers require a specific format that this course covers, is known as DVP&R.

Who Should Attend:

Test Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Managers, interested product engineers and anyone responsible for developing or tracking test plans.

Deliverables

You will be able to describe the details that must be addressed in developing a DVP&R document and reporting results; describe types of testing that are commonly included, methods of deciding test targets, and specification limits.
