This course presents The
Design Quality Index (DQI) method, originated at GM in 1980. Initially used
as a quality predictor, it spread to a number of industries and there are
versions to measure assembly time, manufacturability, and serviceability
(maintainability). (The instructor is the author of this technique.)
Optionally we will also cover the Boothroyd-Dewhurst method. |
