Superior Coaching

Summary:

Key skills will be explored and practiced as they relate to coaching employees. As corporations work to gain a competitive edge, managers are using coaching to motivate and develop their employees as well as manage their performance. Participants will learn what coaching is and how to implement the coaching process to optimize performance among direct reports.

Who Should Attend:

Supervisors, managers, project leaders and anyone responsible for managing employees.

Deliverables:

After completing this program participants will be able to:

  • Effectively use key communication skills employed in coaching: active listening, questioning, feedback and nonverbal communication
  • Assess own coaching skills Identify the steps in the coaching process
  • Prevent coaching pitfalls
  • Apply the skills and steps to both hypothetical and real situations
  • Prepare an action plan to apply learning in workplace
