Summary:
|
Workplace violence can come from a variety of sources: disgruntled employees or previous employees, angry customers or vendors, or out of control partners or former partners of employees. Participants will learn to recognize potentially violent persons or situations, understand the company policies and procedures for managing such circumstances, and know how to defuse such situations, if possible. Since prevention is the ultimate goal, the supervisor and manager needs to know how to reduce the possibility of workplace violence in the first place.
