The Project Technologies Group - Career Transition: Creating Your Future


Summary:	This workshop will provide the tools needed to launch an effective job search and to land a suitable job by using methods that work. Participants will explore the changing world of work and develop an effective job search strategy consistent with these changes.
Who Should Attend:	Persons who will need to find a job outside the company due to downsizing, reorganization, mergers, or acquisitions.
Deliverables:	After completing this program participants will be able to: Assess personal skills, strengths, and preferences to develop a job or career objective Develop an effective and attractive resume that will increase chances for an interview Build a personal job search strategy utilizing networking and the Internet Develop interview skills and responses for difficult questions Manage job search contacts and correspondence Increase self -confidence in finding the right job

Program Length:	1-3 day workshop (longer workshops include development of a resume and greater practice in both networking and interviewing skills) (CERFDS)
