Decision-Making Skills

Summary:

Participants will learn a process that will increase their ability to make effective and appropriate decisions. Their decisions will be able to be supported by a logical, systematic approach and business criteria rather than on "gut feelings".

Who Should Attend:

Supervisors, managers, and anyone whose responsibilities include decision-making

Deliverables:

After completing this program participants will be able to:

  • Apply a decision-making model that is based on criteria and alternatives
  • Determine criteria for making decisions
  • Determine the appropriate usage of the decision-making model
  • Select the decision-making style suitable for the situation: Notification, Consultation, Collaboration, or Consensus
  • Develop an action plan that will transfer learning to the job
