The Project Technologies Group - Creative Problem Solving


Summary:	Solving problems in a creative manner can be the key both to a competitive edge and to greater employee and customer satisfaction in an organization. It involves creativity, intuition, and imagination, as well as a process involving careful analysis, diagnosis, and step-by-step action planning. This highly interactive program exposes participants to a variety of problem-solving techniques as well as an integrated approach to creative problem solving. Both individual as well as group approaches to problem solving will be explored.

Deliverables:	After completing this program participants will be able to: Face problems in new ways Develop novel solutions to problems through a model which includes Awakening, Illumination, Targeting, Imagination, and Planning Utilize problem solving techniques, such as root cause analysis, Pareto Chart, fishbone diagram, brainstorming, multi-group voting, and futuring Recognize the synergistic effect of group problem solving Recognize pitfalls such as Groupthink
