The
purpose of this class is for the participants to learn how to better implement and
execute their strategies. Project portfolio management is the link between
business strategy and projects. It will help ensure that you are not only
doing projects the right way through project management, but also doing the
right projects in the first place.
During this
class, you will learn the differences between projects, programs and
portfolios. You will learn the basic portfolio management process and what
it means to perform portfolio management. Terms like capacity and resource
utilization will be common by the end of the class. Advanced project
selection methods will also be covered. |
